Obedience training is an important part of the Schutzhund training, which already starts in puppy-hood. Main concern is to develop and increase your dogs basic drives as hunting drive or prey drive. You introduce puppy to it’s name and always reward good behaviors.
Later at advanced Schutzhund training your dog has to perform much more. He has to heel without leash, retrieve objects over an obstacle, walk relaxed through a group of people, or ignore noise caused by shots.
