The term Schutzhund has often a confusing meaning for laymen. A dog is not taught aggression toward people at Schutzhund training. It is a dog sport at which dogs can express their natural drives. At the same time they learn to keep their drives under control. This happens under human supervision and under conditions which do not happen in the everyday life. Aim of the Schutzhund training is always to capture the training-arm which the dog carries away at the end; not the human who is wearing it. On the photos you see Wenke v.
