Schutzhund-Tracking

Even puppies can already be accustomed to the tracking training. Sniffing along the ground is a natural behavior for all dogs, not only for Schutzhund dogs. Dog owners have only the task to teach their dog sniffing or tracking in a specific manner.

When tracking, your dog goes at a 2m leash along a track which was prepared before. Your dog shall find different objects without deviating from the tracking course. This is hard work for dogs because they must learn to disable their eyes for tracking, but only use their nose instead.
